“There's a lot of thai places in philly, and they all roughly cost the same amount. This place every other thai place I've been too out of the water. Atmosphere in northern liberties is really perfect for going out to eat, we were lucky to sit outside. My khao soi, unlike so many other places i went to, had real ingredients. Theres actual tamarind and cardomum and star anise, and made my dish that much more savory, and rich. Just a perfect balance of sweetness, creaminess, and tart. I'm definitely coming back here”

It turns out that apparently there are a couple other Bahn/Baan… Thai restaurants… so maybe that had something to do with the mix of reviews? The wife/husband (chef & owners) team checked on our table multiple times. They were happy to answer questions and tell us about their background story. Super sweet! Highly Recommend!!!”
